Linden is about 20 kilometers away from Thun, Bern and Langnau in the Emmental. There is public transport to these towns. If the schedule does not fit your travel plans we offer a transfer. By car it takes 20 minutes to Thun or Langnau, 30 minutes to Bern.
Linden is an ideal spot for trips to different areas. The lake of Thun, the Bernese Oberland and the Alps are very close, also the City of Bern, the capital of Switzerland. Towards Langnau you can explore the Emmental with the big impressive farmhouses in the middle of green hills. There are different attractions to explore.
In Linden you can do beautiful walks or hikes. You can go for bicycle-rides, or on horseback rides, in winter you can ski or cross-country ski. There is a skilift in Linden and a cross-country-course. The skilift was running regularly in the last few winters, the skischool offers great training.
